
Student Community Standards at Texas A&M
The mission of the Department of Student Community Standards is to cultivate a culture of community responsibility by upholding Texas A&M University’s high standards of conduct and accountability. To achieve this mission, Student Community Standards is committed to: upholding the core values of Excellence, Integrity, Leadership, Loyalty, Respect and Selfless Service; educating individuals and organizations on their rights and responsibilities as members of the university community; serving as a resource for students and partners within the university community; encouraging thoughtful reflection that instills and develops sound decision-making; fostering accountability through a fundamentally fair process and; providing restorative opportunities that empower students to become leaders who positively contribute to their communities.

Student Conduct Office
The Student Conduct Office encourages the development and well-being of all students. This is accomplished by promoting reflection, fostering accountability and educating students and campus partners on individual rights and responsibilities within the university community.

Student Organization Accountability Office
Student Organization Accountability is dedicated to upholding the Aggie Core Values within the student organization experience at Texas A&M. We strive to ensure that all student organizations operate in alignment with university policies.

Investigations Office
Student Rule 24.1.10 defines an “investigation” as the follow through on a complaint to ascertain details and circumstances associated with the complaint. Investigations may result in charges, a form of alternative dispute resolution, or dismissal of complaint.
